This is the stairway after a major cutting back of the bamboo. If you scroll down you'll find a previous shot where the stair rail was almost completely blocked out by it. There's still lots of clean-up to do, but we had to quit because we were both exhausted and it was getting dark. This picture was taken the following day - Monday.

Then on Tuesday we drove by and found this! It's a ramp to get equipment up to the house level. The stairway in the previous picture is to the right, and you can just see the top of the garage over the top of the sign.

The builder told us the slope would be too steep to use for cars, but I think we could drive up this easily. That's not the plan, though, because of the large oak tree right at the top of it that I'm trying to protect
